Out In the Community!

  • Beach Clean Up

Beach cleanups can reduce litter, protect marine life, and raise awareness about the harmful effects of trash and plastic pollution. Volunteering is a fun and easy way to give back!

  • Adopt a Channel

These channels were built to manage stormwater runoff and are a critical component of preventing flooding across our county. Unfortunately, the runoff that flows into these channels often collects trash and debris along the way, making its way into our creeks, wetlands, and ultimately, the ocean!

  • Become a Stella Artist

Local OC water providers and community artists will collaborate on a series of baby gray whale wooden relief statues inspired by the art of famed marine life artist Wyland. Affectionately known as “Stella,” each wooden relief statue will be displayed along waterways, streets and community gathering places. Stella reminds people of all ages to be good stewards of our coasts and waterways.
